Lattafa Asad 100ml eau de parfum black and gold bottle, a Dior Sauvage Elixir style fragrance

10 Best Lattafa Perfumes for Men (UK 2026): Ranked by Occasion, From £13.59

Buying Guide · Every Pyramid Checked Against Fragrantica and Lattafa.com · Updated 28 September 2026

Ten Men’s Lattafa Bottles Worth Owning, Sorted by Where You Will Actually Wear Them

The short answer: the best Lattafa mens perfume for most men is Lattafa Asad (£17.99): black pepper, pineapple and tobacco over a warm vanilla-amber base, loud enough to be noticed and cheap enough to be a first bottle. For the office, buy Fakhar. For winter nights out, buy Khamrah. For summer, buy Rave Now.

All ten picks are Eau de Parfum, in stock in the UK at the time of writing, and priced from £11.99 to £33.99. Nine are 100ml; Qaed Al Fursan is 90ml.

Lattafa’s men’s range has a problem that most brands would love to have: there are too many good bottles, and half of them share a name. Ask “which Asad?” in a fragrance group and you will get five different answers, all of them correct for somebody. So this guide does not rank the ten most-hyped bottles on TikTok in order of hype. It picks the one bottle we would hand you for each of the ten situations men actually shop for: a first Lattafa, something for work, a nights-out scent, a summer bottle, a winter one, a budget buy, and so on.

We sell every bottle on this list, which you should keep in mind. We have also tried to be straight about which ones are loud, which ones need a few weeks in a cupboard before they behave, and which one you should not wear to a small office.

How we chose, and what we checked

Every note pyramid below was checked against the fragrance’s page on Fragrantica and against Lattafa’s official website. Where the two disagree, we say so rather than picking quietly. We normally also cross-check Parfumo, but on the day we checked, Parfumo’s pages were not returning reliable data for these fragrances, so the only Parfumo figures quoted here are for Asad Bourbon, which we could confirm. Longevity claims come from the pattern of wearer reports, not from a stopwatch we did not use. And every “compared to” line records what the fragrance community says, not what Lattafa says: Lattafa does not describe any of these as copies, and Royal Scents is not affiliated with any designer house named here.

1. Lattafa Asad: The First Bottle

Lattafa Asad 100ml EDP black and gold bottle

Verdict: spicy, sweet and unsubtle in the best way. If you have never owned a Lattafa and want to know what the fuss is about, this is the bottle.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopBlack pepper, pineapple, tobacco
HeartCoffee, iris, patchouli
BaseVanilla, amber, dry woods, benzoin, labdanum

Asad arrived in 2021 in a plain black bottle and quietly became one of the most-reviewed men’s fragrances on Fragrantica, where it sits at 4.03 out of 5 from more than 14,000 votes. The opening is a crack of black pepper with a sweet pineapple edge and a leafy tobacco note behind it. Within the hour it settles into coffee and patchouli, and the long tail is vanilla and amber with a resinous, slightly smoky warmth. It is a scent for cold air and dark evenings, not a lunchtime meeting.

One honest warning that comes up again and again in reviews: a brand-new bottle can open harsh, almost alcoholic, with the pepper shouting over everything else. That is a fresh-bottle problem, not a formula problem. Leave it in a cool, dark cupboard for a few weeks and the opening rounds off. Our Lattafa maceration guide explains why this happens more with Lattafa than with most designer brands.

Wear it for autumn and winter evenings, nights out, or as the first Lattafa in a small collection. Leave it if you want something discreet: wearers routinely report six to eleven hours on skin and projection that fills a room, so two sprays is plenty indoors.

What wearers compare it to: Dior Sauvage Elixir, by a very wide margin. Reviewers who own both usually describe Asad as sweeter and a little less refined, with more pineapple in the opening. Similar in style rather than a copy, and Lattafa makes no such claim.

2. Lattafa Fakhar: The Office Fragrance

Lattafa Fakhar 100ml EDP bottle

Verdict: clean, green and freshly shaved. The safest bottle on this list for work, and the one we recommend when someone is buying for a man whose taste they do not know.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopApple, bergamot, ginger
HeartLavender, sage, juniper berries, geranium
BaseTonka bean, cedar, amberwood, vetiver

Fakhar (Fragrantica lists the black-bottle men’s version as Fakhar Black, launched 2022) is the aromatic fougère in Lattafa’s line-up: crisp apple and ginger on top, a herbal heart of lavender, sage and juniper, and a soft tonka-cedar base. It smells like a good barbershop, and it is rated 4.20 out of 5 by more than 8,000 Fragrantica voters. A note for the careful reader: Lattafa’s own website lists a different, self-contradicting note set for this bottle. The pyramid above is Fragrantica’s, and it is the one that matches what you smell.

The trade-off is performance. This is the one bottle in this guide where longevity is the recurring complaint: many wearers get four to six hours rather than a full day, and a fair number top up after lunch. For an office scent that is arguably a feature, but you should know before you buy.

Wear it for the office, spring and summer daytime, and anywhere you want to smell clean rather than noticed. Leave it if you want a fragrance to last from breakfast to last orders; look at Asad Elixir or Khamrah instead. If you want something drier and more formal for work, Lattafa Emeer swaps the apple for lemon, juniper and white tea over sandalwood and olibanum.

What wearers compare it to: Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfum. Reviewers usually call Fakhar a touch sweeter and more apple-forward, with a harsher first five minutes that settle down after maceration.

3. Lattafa Khamrah: Winter Nights and Weddings

Lattafa Khamrah 100ml EDP black and gold bottle

Verdict: the most famous Lattafa there is, and it earns it: spiced dates and praline over a resinous vanilla base, with performance that borders on antisocial. Cold-weather only.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopCinnamon, nutmeg, bergamot
HeartDates, praline, tuberose, lily of the valley
BaseVanilla, tonka bean, amberwood, myrrh, benzoin, Akigalawood

Khamrah (2022) is officially unisex, and Fragrantica lists it for women and men, but it is on this list because it is one of the most-bought men’s evening scents we sell, and with good reason. Cinnamon and nutmeg open it, jammy dates and caramel praline fill the middle hours, and it lands on a warm bed of vanilla, tonka, myrrh and benzoin. Fragrantica’s community rates it 4.21 out of 5 from more than 30,000 votes, which is remarkable at this price. If lily of the valley looks odd in a men’s scent, Lattafa’s official page lists it where Fragrantica lists Mahonial, a trade-name material for the same effect; on skin it is a faint lift, not a floral.

Two things reviewers say constantly, and both are true. It is very sweet, so if you dislike gourmands it will not convert you. And it is very strong: eight hours or more on skin, days on a coat, and one spray is enough at a desk. Wear it in warm weather and it becomes a headache in a bottle.

Wear it for autumn and winter evenings, weddings, Eid, Christmas and any night you want to be asked what you are wearing. Leave it if you want subtle, or if your summer plans involve it.

What wearers compare it to: Kilian Angels’ Share. The Kilian opens on cognac and is boozier; Khamrah swaps that for dates and is sweeter. Four notes overlap on the published pyramids, and that is where the similarity ends. Our full Khamrah review goes deeper, and the product page answers what Lattafa Khamrah is a clone of note by note.

4. Lattafa Asad Bourbon: The Nights-Out Bottle

Lattafa Asad Bourbon 100ml EDP bottle

Verdict: lavender and cacao over bourbon vanilla. The most crowd-pleasing Asad, the highest-rated bottle on this list, and the one to wear when the plan is dinner then drinks.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopLavender, mirabelle plum, pink pepper
HeartCacao, nutmeg, davana
BaseBourbon vanilla, amber, vetiver

Asad Bourbon shares a name with Asad and almost nothing else. Where the original is pepper and tobacco, this is a soft lavender opening with a plummy sweetness, a heart of cacao and nutmeg, and a smooth bourbon-vanilla drydown that keeps a little vetiver dryness so it never turns into pudding. Fragrantica has it at 4.41 out of 5 from more than 6,500 votes, the joint-highest rating in this guide, and Parfumo’s community scores its longevity 7.5 and sillage 7.3 out of 10. Fragrantica dates it to 2025; Parfumo says 2024. Lattafa’s own copy calls it unisex; Fragrantica lists it for men.

It has the same fresh-bottle habit as its sibling: a slightly synthetic, sharp first ten minutes that reviewers say improves markedly after a month’s rest. After that it is smooth from the first spray.

Wear it for nights out, dates and colder-weather evenings when you want sweet without heavy. Leave it if you want something distinctive: more than one reviewer calls it “generic good”, which is a fair description of a scent designed to please.

What wearers compare it to: Azzaro The Most Wanted comes up first on both Fragrantica and Parfumo, with Emporio Armani Stronger With You Intensely and Valentino Born in Roma Intense close behind. Reviewers describe it as The Most Wanted with a sweeter opening. If the Born in Roma side of that list appeals, Lattafa Jasoor is the apple-and-tobacco Lattafa that reviewers compare with Valentino’s Coral Fantasy, and one reviewer says its dry-down reminds them of Asad Bourbon.

5. Lattafa Rave Now: The Summer Bottle

Lattafa Rave Now 100ml EDP black geometric bottle

Verdict: juicy pineapple and blackcurrant over smoky birch and musk. The bottle on this list that works in July, and one that manages to be fruity without being a dessert.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopPineapple, bergamot, apple, blackcurrant
HeartBirch, patchouli, Moroccan jasmine, rose
BaseMusk, vanilla, oakmoss, ambergris

Rave is a Lattafa sub-brand, which is why Fragrantica files this 2022 release under “Rave” rather than “Lattafa Perfumes”; it is the same black geometric bottle Lattafa sells on its own site. The opening is a big, realistic pineapple with blackcurrant and apple behind it, so bright that some reviewers call it “canned juice”. It dries down over a couple of hours into a musky, faintly smoky birch-and-oakmoss base that keeps it from smelling like a fruit salad. Fragrantica’s rating is 4.18 out of 5 from around 1,200 votes.

Performance reports are split. Most wearers get five to eight hours on skin and far longer on a shirt; a noticeable minority find projection weak and spray generously. The plastic outer casing is also the most-complained-about bottle in this guide, so treat the packaging as functional rather than a gift-box moment.

Wear it for hot days, the gym bag, weekends and anything outdoors. Leave it if pineapple is not your fruit; it is the whole opening.

What wearers compare it to: Creed Aventus is the name that comes up most, usually with the caveat that Rave Now is simpler and sweeter. Plenty of reviewers also call it a cleaner version of Lattafa’s own Qaed Al Fursan without the saffron.

6. Lattafa Asad Elixir: The Smart Evening Scent

Lattafa Asad Elixir 100ml EDP bottle

Verdict: saffron and tobacco over vanilla and incense. The most grown-up of the Asads, and the one to wear with a jacket. Give it six weeks in the cupboard first.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopPink pepper, saffron, grapefruit
HeartTobacco, vanilla, cedar
BaseAmber, frankincense, patchouli, cashmeran

Asad Elixir (2025) trades the original’s pineapple for saffron and a bitter flash of grapefruit, then moves into a tobacco-vanilla heart with cedar keeping it dry. The base is where it earns its price: amber, frankincense and a soft cashmeran warmth that reads polished rather than sweet. Fragrantica lists frankincense where Lattafa’s site says olibanum; they are the same resin. It shares the 4.41 out of 5 rating with Asad Bourbon, from more than 2,600 votes.

The single most repeated point in its reviews is maceration. Fresh bottles are often described as quiet, four or five hours and soft projection, then “a different fragrance” after six to twelve weeks of rest, with wearers reporting eight to twelve hours. Buy it, put it away, and judge it in November.

Wear it for smart dinners, autumn evenings and occasions where Asad would be too loud. Leave it if you want beast-mode performance out of the box; it is not a first-week fragrance.

What wearers compare it to: Hugo Boss Bottled Absolu, overwhelmingly; several reviewers who own both call it very close, and a few prefer the Lattafa. Boss does not make Asad Elixir and Lattafa does not claim it is a copy.

7. Lattafa Khamrah Dukhan: Khamrah With Less Sugar

Lattafa Khamrah Dukhan 100ml EDP bottle

Verdict: pimento, incense and tobacco over the familiar praline-amber base. The Khamrah for men who liked the idea of the original but found it too much of a pudding.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopSmoked spices, pimento, mandarin
HeartIncense, labdanum, orange blossom, patchouli
BasePraline, tobacco, amber, tonka bean, benzoin

Dukhan means smoke, and Khamrah Dukhan (2025) is the masculine-leaning edition of the range: Fragrantica lists it for men, Lattafa’s site says “men, unisex”. The opening is sharper than the original, peppery pimento and a squeeze of mandarin, and the heart brings incense and labdanum before the praline-tobacco base takes over. It is rated 4.20 out of 5 by more than 2,700 Fragrantica voters.

Manage your expectations about the smoke. A recurring reviewer comment is that the incense is quieter than the name suggests, and that on skin it is still a sweet, spicy gourmand that sits closer to Khamrah than a tobacco-and-ash scent. It is drier and more masculine than the original, not a different family. Performance is the same story: eight to twelve hours and a coat that smells of it for days.

Wear it for cold evenings when you want the Khamrah warmth with more spice and less sugar. Leave it if you already own Khamrah and want something different; several owners of both ask whether the second bottle was necessary.

What wearers compare it to: mostly its own siblings. Among designers, Emporio Armani Stronger With You Intensely is mentioned by a handful of reviewers, one of whom describes Dukhan as the same idea with less chestnut and more smoke.

8. Lattafa Hayaati: The Everyday Bottle

Lattafa Hayaati 100ml EDP black bottle

Verdict: fresh apple and bergamot into a clean, faintly sweet cinnamon-musk. Simple, cheap and easy to wear every day of the week.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopApple, bergamot
HeartCinnamon, woody notes
BaseMusk, vanilla

Hayaati (2020) has one of the shortest note lists in Lattafa’s catalogue, and that is its strength. A crisp apple-and-bergamot opening turns into a soapy, clean cinnamon-musk within an hour, and it stays there. Fragrantica lists it for women and men and rates it 4.09 out of 5 from around 2,300 votes. It is the bottle we suggest to men who want to smell “showered” rather than “perfumed”, and at £12.99 it is one you can spray without counting.

Its divisive side is a sweetness that some wearers read as fruity chewing gum. Most people like it; a few find it too synthetic. Longevity reports are consistently good for a fresh scent, with all-day wear from a few sprays being the common experience.

Wear it for everyday use, work in warmer months and the gym bag. Leave it if you want depth or a scent with a story; this is a daily driver, not a Sunday car.

What wearers compare it to: Paco Rabanne Invictus, by a distance, followed by Rasasi Hawas for Him. The Invictus comparison is about the fresh-sweet feel rather than the note list, which is quite different.

9. Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan: The Budget Beast

Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan 90ml EDP bottle

Verdict: pineapple and saffron over fir and oud, in a 90ml bottle for less than £14. Not pretty, not subtle, and extraordinary value.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopPineapple, saffron
HeartBalsam fir, jasmine
BaseCedar, amber, agarwood (oud)

Qaed Al Fursan has been around since 2016, which makes it one of the older bottles here, and it has aged into a cult favourite: 4.21 out of 5 on Fragrantica from more than 7,600 votes. The pineapple is the whole story for the first hour, sweet and slightly smoky thanks to the saffron, and it sits over a green fir note and a soft, non-medicinal oud that gives it a bit of Arabian depth. It is listed for women and men, though almost everyone who wears it is a man.

Reviewers are refreshingly clear that this is a cheap pineapple scent done well rather than a niche imitation, and that it out-performs several pricier bottles in the same style. The 90ml bottle and the cap are functional at best, and you will not be photographing it.

Wear it for the price, casual days and anyone building a wardrobe on a tight budget. Leave it if you want refinement; Rave Now does the same fruit with cleaner edges for a few pounds more.

What wearers compare it to: Creed Aventus, though most reviewers stress it is pineapple-adjacent rather than a clone, and Afnan 9PM Rebel, which several say it outlasts.

10. Lattafa Pride King of Arabia: The One Nobody Else Is Wearing

Lattafa Pride King of Arabia 100ml EDP bottle

Verdict: jammy raspberry that turns into polished leather. The priciest bottle here, the least likely to be recognised, and the best gift for a man who already owns the obvious ones.

springsummerautumnwinter
TopRaspberry, bergamot
HeartCedarwood, orris, osmanthus
BaseLeather, patchouli, vanilla

King of Arabia comes from Lattafa Pride, the brand’s more premium line, and it is the only bottle on this list that does not smell like anything else Lattafa makes. A sweet burst of raspberry and bergamot gives way, within half an hour, to a smooth, slightly powdery orris and osmanthus heart and then a rich, smoky leather base with vanilla underneath. Fragrantica lists it for women and men and rates it 4.01 out of 5 from around 200 votes: a small sample, so treat the score as early rather than settled. Neither Fragrantica nor Lattafa’s site gives a launch year, so we will not invent one.

Reviewers describe the longevity as close to indefinite and the projection as loud, and almost all of them file it as a cold-weather scent. One or two sprays is the sensible dose.

Wear it for winter evenings, formal occasions and any time you want to smell expensive without smelling like everyone else. Leave it if leather is not for you; it is the point of the fragrance, not a supporting note. If it is, our smoky leather perfume guide compares it with six other Lattafa leathers.

What wearers compare it to: Tom Ford Tuscan Leather is the name reviewers reach for most, with Louis Vuitton Ombré Nomade mentioned occasionally. Few reviews call it a dupe of anything, which is rather the appeal.

Which Lattafa Mens Perfume Should You Buy?

If the ten write-ups have not settled it, match the bottle to the occasion you will wear it for most. That matters more with Lattafa than with most brands, because several of these are loud enough to be the wrong choice in the wrong room.

For the office
Fakhar first, Hayaati second. Both are fresh, both stay reasonably close to the skin, and neither will follow you into a meeting.
For nights out
Asad Bourbon if you want sweet and easy, Asad if you want spice and volume, King of Arabia if you want to be the only one wearing it.
For summer
Rave Now for the beach and barbecues, Hayaati for the daily commute. Leave Khamrah and Asad at home until October.
For winter
Khamrah for sweet, Khamrah Dukhan for spicier, Asad Elixir for polished. Our best Lattafa winter perfumes guide has more.
As a gift
Fakhar if you do not know his taste; it offends nobody. King of Arabia if he already has the famous ones and you want it to feel special.
On a budget
Qaed Al Fursan (£11.99) or Hayaati (£12.99). Between them they cover a loud night scent and a clean day scent for under £30.

Three Things Worth Knowing Before You Spray

1. Most of these improve after a few weeks’ rest

Asad, Asad Bourbon and Asad Elixir all have the same reputation in reviews: sharp or quiet from a brand-new bottle, noticeably better after four to twelve weeks in a cool, dark cupboard. This is maceration, and it is a real effect rather than fragrance-forum folklore. If you buy one of the Asads, do not judge it on day one. Our Lattafa maceration guide explains what is happening.

2. Two sprays is the ceiling for the loud ones

Khamrah, Khamrah Dukhan, Asad and King of Arabia are strong enough that three sprays in a warm room is a mistake you make once. One spray at a desk, two for an evening, and spray the jacket rather than the neck if you want it to last without overwhelming the person opposite you. Test fabric first, as a few of the darker, sweeter scents can mark pale materials.

3. Check the box before you trust the bottle

Lattafa’s popularity means counterfeit bottles now turn up on marketplace listings, and fake cosmetics can contain substances you would not want on your skin. The UK Anti-Counterfeiting Group’s consumer advice is worth two minutes, and our Lattafa authentication guide shows what a genuine box, seal and holographic label look like. A surprising number of “Asad Elixir has no performance” complaints turn out to be about fakes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tap a question to open the answer.

What is the best Lattafa mens perfume?

For most men, Lattafa Asad is the best place to start: black pepper, pineapple and tobacco over a warm vanilla-amber base, with strong performance and a price under £20. If you want something for the office, Fakhar is the better choice; for winter evenings, Khamrah; and for summer, Rave Now. The highest community-rated bottles on Fragrantica are Asad Bourbon and Asad Elixir, both at 4.41 out of 5.

Which Lattafa perfume for men lasts the longest?

Khamrah, Khamrah Dukhan and King of Arabia have the strongest longevity reports, with wearers commonly describing eight to twelve hours on skin and days on clothing. Asad and Asad Elixir are close behind once the bottle has rested for a few weeks. Fakhar is the weakest performer on this list, at roughly four to six hours for many wearers. Longevity always depends on your skin, the weather and the number of sprays.

Are Lattafa mens perfumes copies of designer fragrances?

No. Lattafa creates its own compositions and does not describe any of them as copies. Wearers compare some bottles to designer scents that share a similar style, for example Asad and Dior Sauvage Elixir, or Fakhar and YSL Y. Those comparisons come from the fragrance community, and in every case the note lists differ. Royal Scents is not affiliated with any designer brand.

What is the best Lattafa perfume for men to wear to work?

Fakhar is the safest office fragrance in this guide: fresh apple, ginger and lavender over a soft tonka base, and it stays fairly close to the skin. Hayaati is a good second choice for warmer months. Avoid Khamrah, Khamrah Dukhan and Asad in a small office, as they project strongly for several hours.

Which Lattafa is best for summer?

Rave Now, with its pineapple, blackcurrant and musk, is the most summer-friendly bottle here, and Hayaati is a clean, fresh option for everyday heat. The sweet, spicy scents such as Khamrah and Asad turn heavy in warm weather and are best kept for autumn and winter.

Why does my new Lattafa smell harsh or weak?

Many Lattafa bottles, particularly Asad, Asad Bourbon and Asad Elixir, are known for opening sharp or performing quietly when brand new, then settling and strengthening after four to twelve weeks of rest in a cool, dark place. This process is called maceration. If a bottle disappoints on day one, put it away for a month before deciding. If it still performs poorly, check its authenticity, as counterfeit Lattafa is common on marketplace sites.

Is Lattafa Khamrah a men’s perfume?

Khamrah is unisex, and Fragrantica lists it for women and men. Its warm spice and tobacco-adjacent sweetness mean many men wear it as an evening scent, and it appears in this guide for that reason. Khamrah Dukhan is the version Lattafa positions as the more masculine edition.
