Lattafa Khamrah Collection

The Lattafa Khamrah collection is four 100ml Eau de Parfum bottles that share a name and a warm praline-tonka backbone, but not much else. Three are cold-weather fragrances built on spice and sweetness; the fourth is a fresh summer scent. If you have never worn any of them, start with the original Khamrah: every other bottle in the line is a variation on it, so judge them against it rather than the other way round.

Where to start

• Khamrah — cinnamon, dates, praline and vanilla. The sweet, spiced original; best for winter evenings and weddings. Often compared with Kilian Angels’ Share, though it is an alternative in the same style, not a copy, and we are not affiliated with Kilian.
• Khamrah Qahwa — cardamom and praline over arabica coffee and vanilla. Darker and spicier than the original; the coffee is café crème rather than espresso.
• Khamrah Dukhan — pimento, incense and sweet tobacco over amber. The driest and least sweet of the four, with a soft incense haze rather than a bonfire.
• Khamrah Waha — yuzu, cucumber and sea salt drying to vanilla and tonka. The only one that works in heat; treat it as a separate fragrance that borrows the name.

Which Khamrah should you buy?
