Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of royalscents.co.uk and any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who we are

Royal Scents
Tramway Offices, 901 Mellor Street, Rochdale, OL12 6AA, United Kingdom
Contact: via our contact page

2. How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order acknowledgement email confirms we have received it but does not form a contract. The contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order — for example because an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

3. Products

Every fragrance we sell is 100% authentic and sourced through legitimate supply channels. Bottles are supplied sealed in original manufacturer packaging.

Product images are for illustration. Manufacturers periodically change bottle designs, caps and packaging without notice, so the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photograph. The fragrance itself will be as described.

Fragrance is subjective, and how a scent performs varies with skin chemistry, temperature and how it is applied. Longevity and projection descriptions on our product pages reflect typical experience and are not guarantees.

4. “Inspired by” and comparison references

Some products are described as being inspired by, or as alternatives to, well-known designer and niche fragrances. These references are for descriptive comparison only, to help you understand what a scent smells like.

All third-party brand names and trade marks referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. Royal Scents is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any of those brands. We do not sell counterfeit goods, and none of our products is represented as being manufactured by the brands referenced.

5. Price and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. UK delivery is free on every order with no minimum spend.

We take payment at the point of order. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price; we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Promotional prices apply only while shown and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Delivery

See our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Cancellation and returns

Your rights to cancel and return, including the sealed-goods exemption that applies to fragrance, are set out in full on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Age and use

You must be at least 18 to place an order. Fragrances are for external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep away from eyes, flames and heat, and out of reach of children. Check the ingredient list on the packaging if you have known allergies.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Accuracy of this website

We take care to keep product information, prices and stock accurate, but we do not warrant that the site is free of errors. We may change products, prices and content at any time without notice.

11. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, product descriptions, guides, photography and layout — belongs to Royal Scents and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints

Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you can seek free advice from Citizens Advice.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
