The best Lattafa vanilla perfume for a pure, soft vanilla is Nebras Elixir (£23.99): milk candy and whipped cream over heliotrope, vanilla and musk, a creamy skin scent rather than a dessert. If you want vanilla as a sweet treat, Eclaire (£20.99) is the caramel-and-milk one and Angham (£17.99) adds lavender and cacao.
For the dark, warm end, Asad Bourbon (£17.99) pairs bourbon vanilla with cacao, and Khamrah (£22.99) wraps it in cinnamon, dates and praline. All eight picks below list vanilla in their notes on both Fragrantica and Lattafa’s own listing.
Vanilla runs through more of the Lattafa range than any other note, so “a Lattafa vanilla perfume” can mean almost anything from a milky skin scent to a spiced, boozy evening fragrance. This guide only includes bottles where vanilla is in the note pyramid on both Fragrantica and Lattafa’s official or US distributor listing (checked October 2026), and every one is in stock. They run from soft and close to the skin, through sweet gourmands, to dark and boozy.
If you would rather browse by other notes first, our Lattafa perfumes by note guide groups the range by scent family. For women’s picks across all families, see our ten best Lattafa perfumes for women.
Soft Lattafa vanilla perfumes: skin scents and creamy florals
1. Nebras Elixir: milky vanilla that stays close
Nebras Elixir (2025, perfumer Nanako Ogi on Fragrantica) is the most straightforward vanilla in the range. Milk candy and whipped cream open it, sugar cane and heliotrope add a soft almond-powder sweetness, and vanilla, ambroxan and musk form the base. Fragrantica files it as an Oriental Vanilla with vanilla as its strongest accord, and rates it 4.13 out of 5 from more than 1,100 votes.
Most reviewers describe it as intimate: creamy, cosy and close to the skin. Some say it lasts most of a day, especially after the bottle has rested; others say it becomes a skin scent within a few hours. A noticeable group picks up a play-dough or synthetic note early on. It is a good layering base under brighter scents.

2. Yara: creamy orchid with a soft vanilla finish
Yara (2020) is a floral first and a vanilla second. Orchid, heliotrope and tangerine open it, a gourmand accord and tropical fruit make the creamy heart, and vanilla, musk and sandalwood finish it. The vanilla is light and powdery rather than sugary, which is why it works on warm days. It rates 3.94 out of 5 from more than 12,500 votes on Fragrantica, and Lattafa’s US listing gives the same eight notes.
On longevity, more reviewers praise it than criticise it, but a smaller group finds it fades within a few hours, and most describe projection as close to the wearer. Our guide on how to make Lattafa Yara last longer covers the habits that help.

Sweet Lattafa vanilla gourmands
3. Affection: pistachio, raspberry and vanilla
Affection (2024) is the nutty one. Pistachio, hazelnut and blackcurrant open it; lactones, jasmine, lily of the valley and raspberry sit in the heart; lactones, vanilla and tonka make up the base. Vanilla is its strongest accord on Fragrantica, with nutty second, and it rates 4.11 out of 5 from about 1,250 votes.
Reviewers describe a creamy, nutty dry-down, but the opening divides them: many find it sharp, soapy or green for the first half hour, and a few say the soapiness never fully leaves. Wear time reports run from two to four hours up to ten. It is less sugary than the next two picks.

4. Eclaire: caramel, milk and vanilla
Eclaire (2024) is the most dessert-like bottle in this guide. Caramel, milk and sugar on top, honey and white flowers in the heart, vanilla, praline and musk in the base, and nothing fresh or woody to cut the sweetness. It rates 4.06 out of 5 from almost 10,000 votes, and Lattafa’s US listing matches Fragrantica note for note.
Many reviewers report all-day wear and strong projection; others say it fades within an hour or two on their skin. The main criticism is sweetness, especially in warm weather. Our Eclaire review goes through how it wears from first spray to dry-down.

5. Angham: lavender, cacao and vanilla
Angham (2024) is the most grown-up of the sweet three. Mandarin, ginger and pink pepper open it, lavender, praline and cacao form the heart, and vanilla, amber and musk carry the base. Fragrantica also lists jasmine in the heart; Lattafa’s official list leaves it out, but both agree on vanilla. It is the highest-rated bottle here, 4.44 out of 5 from more than 5,900 votes.
Wear time reports split three ways: some get long wear and next-day scent on clothes, many report three to five hours, and a few say it fades within two. The lavender is what makes it easy for men to wear too, which our guide to wearing Angham covers along with seasons and layering.

Weighing Angham, Khamrah and Eclaire against each other? Our Lattafa gourmand comparison puts them side by side, so we keep each to its vanilla story here.
Dark and boozy Lattafa vanilla perfumes
6. Her Confession: vanilla under tuberose and incense
Her Confession (2024) uses vanilla as a cushion for a darker floral. Cinnamon and Mystikal open it; tuberose, jasmine, incense and Mahonial form the heart; vanilla, tonka and musk make the base. Vanilla is its strongest accord on Fragrantica, where it rates 3.91 out of 5 from nearly 3,500 votes.
The common complaint is a harsh, alcoholic opening that some say takes an hour, or weeks of rest, to settle. After that, reviewers describe a creamy, milky, powdery dry-down. Some report all-day wear; others three to six hours. Our Her Confession review covers it in full.

7. Asad Bourbon: bourbon vanilla and cacao
Asad Bourbon (2025, perfumer Jean-Louis Sieuzac on Fragrantica) is the vanilla for anyone who finds the others too sugary. Lavender, mirabelle plum and pink pepper open it, cacao, nutmeg and davana sit in the heart, and bourbon vanilla, amber and vetiver carry the base. Vanilla and cacao are its two leading accords, and it rates 4.40 out of 5 from about 6,800 votes. Despite the name, several reviewers note it is not especially boozy; the warmth comes from cacao and spice.
Many reviewers report six to ten hours on skin; others find it moderate, and several say a new bottle needs a few weeks to smooth out. Our Asad Bourbon review explains why patience pays with this one.

8. Khamrah: vanilla wrapped in cinnamon, dates and praline
Khamrah (2022) is the boozy end of Lattafa vanilla. Cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot open it; dates, praline, tuberose and Mahonial follow; vanilla, tonka, amberwood, myrrh, benzoin and Akigalawood make the base. Vanilla is its third accord after sweet and warm spicy. With more than 31,000 votes and a 4.21 rating on Fragrantica, it is the most-voted bottle on this list.
Reviewers mostly describe it as long-lasting and strong, and some warn it overpowers in warm rooms. Opinion splits on the character: fans call it cosy and addictive, critics call it cloying. Our Khamrah review describes what it smells like stage by stage.

What about Queen of Arabia?
Queen of Arabia (£33.99) is in stock and lists vanilla on both sources, but the two lists disagree on almost everything else. Fragrantica gives coconut and salt, sandalwood and heliotrope, then vanilla and amber, and reviewers describe a powdery, salty coconut-vanilla. Lattafa’s US listing gives ylang-ylang, nutmeg and grapefruit, then jasmine, rose and white florals, then vanilla, amber and soft woods. Only the vanilla and amber overlap, so we left it off the main list until the note information is consistent. It rates 4.00 out of 5 from about 600 votes, and many reviewers report long wear.
How to get more from a vanilla perfume
Vanilla is a base note, so it is what you smell longest, but the softer bottles above sit close to the skin by design. Reviewers commonly suggest spraying clothing or a scarf as well as skin, and resting a new bottle for a few weeks if it seems sharp; our maceration guide explains why. The sweeter and darker bottles go the other way: one or two sprays is usually enough indoors.
