The best unisex Lattafa perfume for most people is Khamrah (£22.99): cinnamon, dates and praline over vanilla and tonka, listed "for women and men" by Fragrantica and as unisex by Lattafa. For something less sweet, Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst (£18.99) is a rose and oud that reviewers split almost evenly on, which is a good sign it really does sit in the middle.
All eight picks below are listed as unisex by both Fragrantica and Lattafa's own listings, apart from Angham, where Lattafa's two official sites disagree with each other. Not every unisex bottle feels neutral: Oud for Glory and Atlas are shared in name but lean masculine in wear, and we say so.
Most of the Lattafa range is sold as unisex, and in the Arabian tradition it comes from, oud, rose, amber and saffron were never split by gender in the first place. Our guide to Lattafa perfumes for men, women and unisex explains how much the labels mean. This page goes deeper: eight in-stock bottles that genuinely work on anyone, with each gender listing checked and the disagreements flagged.
If you already know you want something traditionally masculine or feminine, our lists of the best Lattafa perfumes for men and the best Lattafa perfumes for women will serve you better.
What makes a Lattafa perfume unisex?
A unisex label is a decision, not a chemical property. A brand calls a fragrance unisex because it expects both men and women to buy it. Fragrantica's "for women and men" tag reflects how the fragrance is listed and worn. Neither tells you how it will feel on you.
What actually makes a scent feel shared is balance. A fragrance that is all sugar or all flowers reads feminine to most people; one that is all dry wood, leather or pepper reads masculine. The bottles that feel genuinely neutral usually pair the two: a sweet note with a spice, a rose with oud, a gourmand with lavender or woods. That is the pattern running through most of the picks below.
How we checked each gender listing
For every bottle we checked three things in October 2026: the gender in Fragrantica's title, the "fragrance type" on Lattafa's official site or the product title on Lattafa's US distributor, and what recent Fragrantica reviewers say about who it suits. We used the note pyramid where Fragrantica and Lattafa agree, and say where they do not.
The 8 best unisex Lattafa perfumes
In editorial order, from the most evenly shared to the ones that lean one way. Ratings, launch years and perfumers are as shown on Fragrantica in October 2026.
1. Lattafa Khamrah: the safest shared bottle
Khamrah is cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot over dates, praline and tuberose, finishing on vanilla, tonka, benzoin, myrrh and amberwood. Lattafa's own listing adds lily of the valley to the heart; the rest matches Fragrantica. It launched in 2022 and is the most-voted of the Lattafa bottles we checked by a wide margin.
It works on anyone because the spice and the sweetness balance each other: cinnamon and myrrh on one side, dates and praline on the other. One Fragrantica reviewer who sells perfume noted that the men who wear it always seem to get compliments. It is sweet and strong, so it suits autumn and winter best.
2. Lattafa Angham: sold for women, worn by everyone
Angham is the one where the labels disagree. Fragrantica lists it "for women and men", Lattafa's US distributor calls it unisex, but Lattafa's main site files it under women. The main site also leaves jasmine out of the heart, which Fragrantica and the US listing both include.
The notes are ginger, mandarin and pink pepper, then lavender, praline, cacao and jasmine, over vanilla, amber and musk. The lavender is the reason it crosses over: it gives the cocoa and praline an aromatic edge that reads as barbershop as much as bakery. It has the highest rating of the eight. Our guide on how to wear Lattafa Angham covers men wearing it, seasons and sprays.
3. Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst: the rose that is not just for women
Amethyst is pink pepper and bergamot over Turkish and Bulgarian rose with jasmine, resting on oud, amber and vanilla. Fragrantica and Lattafa's US distributor list identical notes. It launched in 2021.
Its reviews are the best evidence on this list that a bottle sits in the middle. Of the recent reviews we read, about 15 called it unisex, about 15 said it leaned feminine and around five said the oud made it lean masculine. Several men described wearing it comfortably. If you think rose is only for women, this is the one to try. Our Amethyst review has the full breakdown.
4. Lattafa Oud Mood: oud softened with caramel
On Fragrantica and Lattafa's US distributor, Oud Mood is rose, saffron and pimento over oud, caramel, florals and patchouli, with amber, incense, resins and musk in the base. Lattafa's main site shows a different pyramid built on nutmeg, sandalwood and leather. We have used the version the other two agree on.
Reviewers were split three ways: about 13 called it unisex, around ten said it leaned feminine and nine said masculine. That split is exactly why it is here. The caramel and rose round off the oud, so it is the easiest oud on this list for someone who has never worn one. At £15.99 it is also the cheapest of the eight.
5. Lattafa Teriaq Intense: boozy plum for evenings
Teriaq Intense is saffron and bergamot over plum liqueur and cinnamon, finishing on amber, tonka and benzoin. Fragrantica credits the perfumer as Quentin Bisch and dates it to 2024, and Lattafa's US distributor lists the same notes.
Fruit, spice and amber is about as gender-neutral as a structure gets: there is no single flower or wood pulling it one way. It is the most expensive pick here at £33.99, and it is sweet and warm, so it is an evening and cold-weather bottle.
6. Bade'e Al Oud Honor & Glory: fruit and spice
Honor & Glory is pineapple and crème brûlée over cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper and benzoin, with vanilla, sandalwood, cashmeran and moss underneath. Fragrantica lists those notes; Lattafa's site merges the opening into a single pineapple brûlée note and says it is meant for both women and men.
The pepper and turmeric give the dessert an edge, which is why it reads as shared rather than sweet-shop. It is the most playful bottle here and loud for the first hour, so go easy indoors. Its sister bottles are compared in our Bade'e Al Oud collection guide.
7. Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory: unisex on paper, darker in wear
Oud for Glory is saffron, nutmeg and lavender over oud and patchouli, with oud, patchouli and musk again in the base. It launched in 2020. Lattafa's main site calls it unisex, and its product description lists the same notes as Fragrantica, although the notes box on the same page shows an unrelated pyramid. We have used the description.
Here the reviews pull one way. Several recent reviewers described it as masculine, one in strong terms, and we found none calling it feminine. One woman reviewer said she enjoyed it, and another reviewer called it unisex with a slight masculine lean. Choose it if you want a dark, serious oud and like that edge. Our Oud for Glory review explains its sharp opening.
8. Lattafa Atlas: the fresh one
Atlas is the only fresh scent here: sea notes, salt and lemon over davana and iris, with ambergris, oakmoss and sandalwood in the base. Fragrantica dates it to 2024, and Lattafa's US distributor lists the same notes.
It is listed as unisex everywhere, but in the recent reviews we read, the few who commented on gender said it leaned masculine, and none we read said a woman wore it. Salty marine scents suit anyone who likes them, though, and it is the pick for warm weather when the gourmands above are too heavy. Our Lattafa Atlas review explains why it divides people.
Where the gender labels disagree
Angham is not the only bottle where Lattafa and Fragrantica see things differently. Two more are worth knowing about if you are shopping for someone of the other gender.
Eclaire (£20.99). Fragrantica and Lattafa's main site list it for women. Lattafa's US distributor sells it as unisex. It is caramel, milk and honey and very sweet, and with two of three listings saying women, we have not counted it as a unisex pick.
Asad Bourbon (£17.99). Fragrantica lists it for men, while Lattafa's site calls it unisex. Lavender, cacao and bourbon vanilla would work on anyone who likes sweet scents, but Fragrantica files it as a men's fragrance.
Two more are listed as unisex by Lattafa: Khamrah Qahwa (£23.99), which Fragrantica also lists for women and men and which wears like a darker Khamrah, and Musamam (£29.99), a dry saffron, cedar and incense scent. We could not check Musamam's Fragrantica listing, so it is not in the eight.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Khamrah if you want one bottle that suits almost anyone, or a safe gift when you are not sure who it is for.
Choose Angham if you like sweet scents but want something with an aromatic edge.
Choose Amethyst or Oud Mood if you want rose and oud. Amethyst is brighter and rosier; Oud Mood is warmer, with caramel.
Choose Teriaq Intense or Honor & Glory if you want fruit and spice for evenings. Teriaq is boozier; Honor & Glory is more playful.
Choose Oud for Glory or Atlas if you are happy with a masculine lean: dark oud or salty and fresh.
Skip these if you want something light and soft for a small office. Most of these are strong, and only Atlas is fresh.
