The best jasmine perfume for most people in our range is Lattafa Dalal (£21.49): apple and mandarin over a heart of jasmine, ylang-ylang and orange flower, on a soft vanilla, musk and oakmoss base. It is bright, polished and easy to wear by day.
Want it fresher? Try Opulent Dubai (£13.99). Sweeter? Rave Now Women (£14.99). Darker and richer? Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst (£18.99), where jasmine sits between two roses and oud.

Jasmine is in more perfumes than almost any other flower. It is often listed quietly in the heart, doing the work of making a fragrance feel “floral” without being the headline. That makes shopping for a jasmine perfume harder than it sounds: two bottles can both list jasmine and smell nothing alike.
This guide fixes that. First, a short explanation of what jasmine actually smells like. Then six in-stock Lattafa perfumes with jasmine in their pyramid, grouped by how the jasmine behaves: fresh and clean, fruity, with vanilla, or with rose and oud. Every pyramid below was checked on Fragrantica and on Lattafa’s own site.
What does jasmine smell like in perfume?
Real jasmine is a small white flower that smells far bigger than it looks, especially at night. In perfume it has four main sides, and which one comes forward depends on the jasmine material used and what surrounds it.
Sweet and honeyed
Heady and indolic
Fruity
Green and fresh
Perfumers mainly use two types. Jasmine grandiflorum (often called Spanish or Moroccan jasmine) is the classic, rounder and more honeyed. Jasmine sambac, widely grown in South and Southeast Asia and much loved across the Gulf, is greener and more fruity, with a tea-like freshness. Lattafa’s pyramids usually just say “jasmine”, so the surrounding notes are your best guide to which side you will get.
Jasmine vs tuberose vs gardenia
All three are “white florals”, and they often appear together. Here is the quick difference:
If you find jasmine too sharp and want something creamier, tuberose is the next step. Our guide to what tuberose smells like in perfume covers it in depth.
Fresh and clean jasmine
These two use citrus to lift the jasmine and keep it light. They are the easiest jasmine perfumes for daytime, work and warmer weather.
1. Lattafa Dalal
Notes: apple, mandarin / jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange flower / vanilla, musk, oakmoss. Lattafa names the apple as Golden Delicious; Fragrantica lists the orange-flower note as orange.
Dalal is the clearest example of jasmine done bright. Fragrantica voters rank citrus, white floral and yellow floral as its top three accords, so the jasmine arrives with sunny fruit rather than heaviness. The vanilla and musk keep it soft, and the oakmoss gives it a polished, grown-up finish. Our explainer on what oakmoss smells like shows how that base keeps sweet florals from turning sugary.
It rates 4.34 out of 5 from 512 votes on Fragrantica, one of the best scores in this guide. Wearer impressions (paraphrased from Fragrantica reviews): many describe a clean white floral that softens after the bottle has rested; a minority find the jasmine and ylang-ylang strong at first.

2. Lattafa Opulent Dubai
Notes: mango, grapefruit, lemon, ginger / jasmine, cedarwood, violet / woody notes, ambergris, oakmoss, benzoin. Fragrantica and lattafa.com list the same notes.
Opulent Dubai is a citrus and tropical scent first, and its jasmine is a supporting player. That is exactly why it belongs here: it shows the fresh, green side of jasmine, sitting with violet and cedar so the heart feels airy rather than heady. Fragrantica’s top accords are citrus, tropical and fruity, with fresh spicy and woody further down.
It launched in 2025 and already rates 4.33 out of 5 from 2,983 Fragrantica votes. Be clear on what you are buying: if you want jasmine to be the star, choose Dalal. If you want a bright summer scent with a floral lift, this is the one.

Fruity jasmine
Jasmine’s natural fruitiness makes it a perfect partner for tropical notes. Here the flower is woven into the fruit, not layered on top.
3. Lattafa Ajayeb Dubai Portrait
Notes: orange, lemon / mango, osmanthus, jasmine / oud, sandalwood, musk, amber. Fragrantica and lattafa.com agree.
The heart is the interesting part. Mango, osmanthus (a flower with an apricot-like smell) and jasmine sit together, so the jasmine reads juicy and sunny. Underneath, sandalwood, musk and a little oud give it a creamy, woody finish. Fragrantica’s leading accords are fruity, tropical and citrus, with floral and oud further down.
It is the most divisive pick here, at 3.78 out of 5 from 1,496 votes. Wearer impressions (paraphrased from Fragrantica reviews): several describe a sharp opening in a new bottle that settles with time.

Jasmine and vanilla perfume
Jasmine and vanilla is one of the classic pairings: the vanilla smooths jasmine’s indolic edge and the jasmine stops the vanilla feeling like pure dessert. These two take it in very different directions.
4. Lattafa Rave Now Women
Notes: red fruits, orange / marshmallow, lily of the valley, jasmine / vanilla, moss, musk. Lattafa’s official list.
This is jasmine at its softest and most playful. The jasmine sits in a fluffy marshmallow heart with lily of the valley, over a vanilla and musk base, so it reads as a sweet, powdery floral rather than a heady one. Lattafa sells it as a women’s fragrance and lists it as a 2023 launch.
One warning: Rave Now White is a different perfume with no jasmine in its pyramid, so do not swap one for the other. Our Rave Now vs Rave Now White vs Rave Now Women guide sets the three side by side.

5. Lattafa Her Confession
Notes: cinnamon, Mystikal / tuberose, jasmine, incense, Mahonial / vanilla, musk, tonka bean. Fragrantica and lattafa.com list the same core notes.
Her Confession is the grown-up take on jasmine and vanilla. Jasmine shares the heart with tuberose and incense, warmed by cinnamon on top and a creamy vanilla and tonka base. Fragrantica’s top accords are vanilla, white floral and tuberose, so expect a rich, smoky white-floral rather than a sweet one. It rates 3.91 out of 5 from 3,515 votes.
Tuberose leads here, with jasmine supporting, so it suits someone who likes big florals. For the full breakdown, read our Her Confession review.

Jasmine with rose and oud
In Arabian perfumery, jasmine often plays a bridging role between rose and dark woods. It adds brightness to the rose and softens the oud.
6. Lattafa Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst
Notes: pink pepper, bergamot / Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose, jasmine / agarwood (oud), amber, vanilla. Fragrantica and lattafa.com list the same eight notes.
Amethyst is a rose oud first: Fragrantica voters rank rose and oud as its top two accords, with white floral further down. The jasmine is what keeps two roses and agarwood from feeling dense, adding a lift through the heart before the amber and vanilla base. It is the most-voted bottle here, at 4.01 out of 5 from 4,326 votes, and has been around since 2021.

A note on performance
We do not print hour-by-hour longevity figures, because Lattafa does not publish them and wearer reports vary widely. As a rule, jasmine paired with vanilla, amber or oud (Her Confession, Amethyst, Rave Now Women) tends to stay noticeable longer than jasmine paired with citrus (Opulent Dubai). Skin, weather and how many sprays you use matter just as much. Spraying clothes as well as skin helps any of them.
