Lattafa Jasoor (£18.99 for 100ml) is an apple-and-tobacco aromatic: crisp apple and cardamom first, a lavender and tobacco heart, then a warm tonka, leather and vetiver dry-down. Fragrantica voters rate it 4.40 out of 5 and pick autumn and winter as its best seasons, with spring close behind.
The honest caveats: wearer reports on longevity are mixed, the opening can smell sharp from a new bottle, and the bottle’s big domed cap divides opinion. Skip it if you want a loud all-day projector or a fresh scent for hot afternoons.
Jasoor (جسور, “bold” in Arabic) came out in 2023 and quietly became one of Lattafa’s best-rated men’s bottles. Most people find it through its likeness to a Valentino, which we cover on the product page. This review is about the fragrance itself: what it smells like as the hours go by, how it performs according to the people who wear it, when to wear it, and how it compares with two other Lattafa men’s bottles we stock.
Everything here was checked against Fragrantica’s Jasoor page and Lattafa’s official listing in October 2026. Comments on wear and performance are paraphrased from public wearer reviews, not our own testing.
Lattafa Jasoor Review: The Quick Facts
Rating, launch year, accords and season votes from Fragrantica, checked 15 October 2026. Fragrantica does not list a perfumer.
What Does Lattafa Jasoor Smell Like, Hour by Hour?
Fragrantica lists ten notes: apple, cardamom and bergamot on top; tobacco, lavender and geranium in the heart; tonka, leather, vetiver and patchouli in the base. Here is how wearers describe each stage. Timings are approximate and vary with skin, weather and how many sprays you use.
The overall impression is a crowd-pleasing evening scent: fruity and fresh at first, warmer and more grown-up later. Compliments come up again and again in positive reviews, with one wearer reporting a compliment on the very first day.
How Long Does Lattafa Jasoor Last?
Lattafa does not publish a longevity figure, and Fragrantica’s longevity and sillage vote totals were not displayed when we checked. That leaves the written reviews, and they split into three groups.
Several reviewers report around six to seven hours on skin, with noticeable projection for the first three or four.
A minority say it barely projects, or fades within an hour or two. The weak dry-down is their main complaint.
A strong theme: many wearers say a new bottle changes a lot after resting, sometimes for months, and that it was worth the wait.
So the fair summary is “moderate, and better from a bottle that has had time to settle”. If you buy one, spray it a few times, put it in a cool, dark cupboard and judge it again after a few weeks. Our Lattafa maceration guide explains what is happening during that rest. Spraying clothing as well as skin also helps, as it does with most Lattafa bottles.
Is Jasoor Better for Summer or Winter?
Fragrantica’s season votes give a clear picture. Autumn and winter tie for first place at roughly 1,200 votes each, spring is close behind at about 1,100, and summer trails with 636. Day and night votes are nearly level, so it is not purely an evening scent.
For genuinely hot days, a fresher bottle will do a better job. Our best fresh Lattafa perfumes guide covers those.
Jasoor vs Fakhar vs Asad Bourbon: Which Lattafa Should You Pick?
Jasoor sits between two of the most popular Lattafa men’s bottles. Lattafa Fakhar shares its apple, lavender, geranium, tonka and vetiver but stays fresh and clean. Asad Bourbon shares its lavender and warmth but goes much sweeter. One Fragrantica reviewer even says Jasoor’s dry-down reminds them of Asad Bourbon.
| Jasoor | Fakhar | Asad Bourbon | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Key notes | Apple, cardamom, tobacco, lavender, tonka, leather | Apple, ginger, lavender, sage, tonka, cedar | Lavender, plum, cacao, nutmeg, bourbon vanilla |
| Feel | Fruity, then warm and slightly smoky | Clean, fresh, office-friendly | Sweet, boozy, nights out |
| Best for | Cooler months, casual evenings, weekends | Daytime and work, spring to early autumn | Dates and colder-weather evenings |
| Price | £18.99 · 100ml | £16.99 · 100ml | £17.99 · 100ml |
In practice: if you want one apple scent for the office, choose Fakhar. If you want something sweeter and more obviously “date night”, Asad Bourbon is the safer crowd-pleaser, and our Asad Bourbon review goes into it in detail. Jasoor is the one for people who like a bit of tobacco and leather under the fruit. For how all of these fit into the wider range, see the best Lattafa perfumes for men.
Who Should Skip Lattafa Jasoor?
- You need a guaranteed beast. Performance reports vary too much to promise all-day projection, especially from a fresh bottle.
- Sweet or sharp apple notes bother you. The apple leads the opening, and some reviewers find it synthetic.
- You want a quiet office scent. It can work in the daytime, but Fakhar is the cleaner choice for work.
- You mostly need a summer-afternoon fragrance. Summer gets about half the votes of the other seasons.
- Bottle design matters a lot to you. The big domed cap is the most criticised thing about Jasoor, with several reviewers calling the bottle cheap-looking, though others like it.
A smaller point: a few reviewers find Jasoor feels youthful. That is a matter of taste, but worth knowing if you usually wear something more formal.
Our Verdict: Is Lattafa Jasoor Worth Buying?
Choose Jasoor if you like fruity-aromatic scents with tobacco underneath, want a compliment-friendly bottle for autumn, winter and spring evenings, and are happy to let a new bottle rest before judging it.
Choose Fakhar or Asad Bourbon instead if you want something fresher for work, or something sweeter for nights out.
Skip it if you need maximum projection or a hot-weather daytime scent.
A 4.40 rating from more than 1,800 Fragrantica voters is strong for any fragrance. At £18.99 for 100ml, Lattafa Jasoor is an easy bottle to justify if the notes above sound like you.
