Eros Najim Is £130. Here Are Five Ways to Get Most of It for Less.
Let’s start honestly: you can buy Versace Eros Najim in Britain. Harrods and Selfridges both stock it. The problem was never availability — it is that a 100ml bottle costs around £130, and Najim’s caramel-cardamom-incense idea turns out to be reproducible for a fraction of that.
So rather than repeat the “Dubai exclusive you can’t get” line that half the internet is still running, we did something checkable. We took Najim’s published note pyramid, took the pyramids of every fragrance in our range that plausibly sits in the same territory, and counted the overlap.
Here is what came out — ranked by evidence, not by margin.
First, What Eros Najim Actually Is
Versace launched Eros Najim in 2024. It has nothing to do with the minty blue Eros most people picture — it is a warm, caramel-and-incense oriental with oud in the middle. The published pyramid runs to eleven notes:

Nothing else comes close on paper, and nothing else comes close in wear. Untamed rebuilds Najim’s entire opening and drydown structure — the mandarin-cardamom lift, the burnt caramel, the cedar-and-frankincense base — almost item for item.
What it does not have is the oud. And oud is not a detail: it is what gives Najim its smooth, resinous, unmistakably Middle Eastern weight. Lattafa fills the gap with an aromatic accord of lavender, clary sage, geranium and cypress, which pushes Untamed drier, greener and more herbal than the Versace. Some reviewers hear a Burberry Hero edge in it. They are not wrong.

2. Lattafa Emeer — 5 of 11

The surprise of the exercise. Emeer is not marketed as a Najim anything, but it carries the two notes almost nothing else does — clary sage and olibanum together — plus cardamom, patchouli and cedarwood. That is Najim’s aromatic-resinous skeleton with a cleaner, more polished finish.
The difference is sweetness. Emeer has no caramel, so where Najim goes warm and edible, Emeer stays dry, tea-like and formal. If you found Najim slightly too sweet and wished someone would make the grown-up version, this is closer to what you wanted than Untamed is.
3. Lattafa Kashaf — 4 of 11, and the Only One With the Oud

This is the interesting one, and it is the reason this article is not just “buy Untamed.”
Kashaf scores lower than Untamed overall — but look at which four notes it matches. Saffron, agarwood and tonka bean are three of the exact four that Untamed leaves out. Kashaf is, in other words, the complement rather than the competitor: where Untamed rebuilds Najim’s bright caramel-spice half, Kashaf rebuilds its dark resinous half.

Same score as Kashaf, different flavour of it. Creative Art pairs saffron with olibanum and benzoin over a vanilla-amber base, and the elemi in the opening gives it a resinous lift Najim does not have.
It is the most “expensive-smelling” fragrance on this list and it is priced accordingly at £39.99. Whether that is good value depends entirely on whether you want a Najim alternative or simply a very good saffron-incense woody — because on the second count it beats everything above it.

5. Lattafa Mughal Fort — 3 of 11

Lowest score on the list and still worth including, because of which three notes it shares: cardamom, cedarwood and caramel. That is the exact trio that makes Najim recognisable in the first fifteen minutes.
Mughal Fort takes that opening and resolves it into vanilla, musk and amber instead of oud and resin. So the first impression is uncannily on-target and the destination is somewhere sweeter and softer. If you liked Najim’s opening more than its base, this is your bottle.
