Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense 100ml EDP — Caramel, Oud And Incense, Drier Than The Original
Caramel · Liquorice · Cedar · Agarwood · Sandalwood · Sugar · Incense · Vanilla · Amber · Musk — 100ml Eau de Parfum spray, 100% authentic Lattafa, dispatched from the UK.
Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense is the drier, smokier, woodier version of the Raghba everyone knows. Caramel and liquorice open it, agarwood and sandalwood carry the middle, and incense, vanilla, amber and musk hold the base. Where the original is sweet vanilla wrapped in smoke, this one turns the balance around — the wood leads and the sugar follows.
It is unisex, built for cold weather, and it is one of the strongest performers Lattafa makes at this price. If you have been looking for Raghba Wood Intense by Lattafa in the UK, this is the full-size 100ml Eau de Parfum, in stock at £17.99 and dispatched within 24 hours.
The Scent Pyramid at a Glance
Wear-tested at 2–3 sprays · autumn and winter evenings
Sweet and faintly boozy: caramel first, then the liquorice that is this fragrance’s signature and its dividing line — some people read it as warm anise, others as sharp. Cedar sits underneath from the first minute, which is the clue that this is not going to stay a dessert.
This is where it becomes recognisably Raghba. Smoky agarwood comes up through the sweetness, sandalwood makes it creamy rather than harsh, and a thread of sugar keeps the link to the original. Rich, resinous and unmistakably Arabian.
The reason it lasts. Resinous incense and amber over vanilla and clean musk — warm, smoky and dense. It settles into a skin-scent after a few hours but never disappears, and it will still be on a coat collar days later.

Raghba Or Raghba Wood Intense — Which Should You Buy?
This is the question most people arrive with, so here it is straight. They share a name and a base, but they are not interchangeable:
| Raghba (original) | Raghba Wood Intense this one | |
|---|---|---|
| Leads with | Sugar and vanilla | Caramel, liquorice and cedar |
| Overall feel | Sweet, gourmand, tobacco-vanilla | Drier and woodier — more smoke than sugar |
| Compared to | Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille | Nothing in particular — an original composition |
| Buy it if | You want the classic sweet Arabian vanilla-oud | You found the original too sweet, or you want more wood |
| Price | £18.00 | £17.99 |
Short version: if this is your first Raghba, start with the original. If you already own it and want something less sugary for the same money, Wood Intense is the natural second bottle — and at a penny less, the choice is about the smell, not the budget.
What It Actually Smells Like
One line: burnt caramel and liquorice thrown onto an incense burner full of oud chips.
The first half hour is the sweetest and the most divisive — caramel and liquorice, with cedar already pushing back against them. By the end of the first hour the agarwood is up and the sugar has stepped behind it, and from hour three it is incense, amber and vanilla: warm, smoky, dense, close to the skin but absolutely still there.
Two honest notes. Liquorice is the deal-breaker — if anise or liquorice reads harsh to you, this is the one Raghba to skip, and no amount of drydown will change that verdict. And it is too heavy for hot weather; in a warm room two sprays is genuinely enough.
Performance, Measured
Incense, amber, vanilla and musk are all heavyweight base materials, and they behave exactly as you would expect. Eight to twelve hours on skin from two to three sprays is normal, and clothing holds it far longer. Performance always varies with skin chemistry and weather.
Is Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense a Clone or Dupe of Anything?
No — and we would rather say so than invent a comparison. Searches for a Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense clone or Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense dupe usually end in disappointment, because Wood Intense is an original Lattafa composition rather than a reconstruction of a designer or niche scent. The original Raghba is the one people compare to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille; this flanker goes somewhere drier.
If you want the same neighbourhood from our shelves: Khamrah Dukhan is the smokier, more tobacco-led option, and Bade’e Al Oud Oud for Glory is the woodier, more oud-forward one. Our honest read on the whole range is in the Lattafa dupes guide.

| Khamrah | Spiced dates, cinnamon and vanilla | The crowd-pleaser of the group | £21.99 |

Who It’s For
- Buy it if you loved Raghba but wished it were less sugary and more woody.
- Buy it if you want a genuine winter signature with 8–12 hour performance for under £20.
- Buy it if you like incense, oud and amber and do not want a soapy or fresh finish anywhere near them.
- Buy it if you want a fragrance that stays on a coat between wears — this is that.
- Skip it if liquorice or anise is a no for you. Try Khamrah instead.
- Skip it if you need something for summer or an air-conditioned office — it is too dense for both.
Why Buy Raghba Wood Intense From Royal Scents
Every bottle is genuine Lattafa, sourced properly and stored in the UK. And you will notice we told you the liquorice divides people, that it is not a clone of anything, and which bottle to buy instead if the original Raghba is what you actually wanted — because we would rather sell you the right fragrance than process your return.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- Two sprays, not five. It builds quickly in a warm room and over-application is the usual complaint.
- Give a fresh bottle a few weeks. Like most Lattafa releases in this family, new juice can read sharper on the liquorice. More on maceration →
- Spray it on your coat. The incense and amber cling to wool, and that is where the multi-day trail comes from.
- It is a cold-weather fragrance. Autumn and winter evenings, dinners and weddings — not July.
Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense FAQs
Which notes are in Raghba Wood Intense?
Caramel, liquorice and cedar on top; agarwood, sandalwood and sugar in the heart; incense, vanilla, amber and musk in the base — ten notes in a sweet-smoky-woody structure.
How is Wood Intense different from the normal Raghba?
Same family, different balance. Wood Intense adds caramel, liquorice and cedar up top and lets the wood and smoke lead, so it comes across drier and less gourmand than the original.
How long does Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense last?
Eight to twelve hours on skin at two to three sprays, with strong projection for the first two to four hours and a warm smoky skin-scent after that. On clothing it lasts for days.
Is Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense a clone or dupe of a designer perfume?
No. It is an original Lattafa composition. The Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille comparison belongs to the original Raghba, not to this one.
Is Raghba Wood Intense for men or women?
Unisex. Men tend to wear it as a winter signature and women as an evening scent, but nothing in the composition is gendered.
How much is Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense in the UK?
£17.99 for the full-size Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense Eau de Parfum Spray (100ml) at Royal Scents, with free tracked UK delivery and dispatch within 24 hours.
Is it the same as Raghba For Men?
No. Raghba For Men is a fresh citrus-and-iris fragrance with no relation to either the original Raghba or Wood Intense.
What does the bottle look like?
A dark wood-and-gold flacon in the ornate Arabian style, supplied in a matching rigid box. The photographs on this page show the exact bottle and box we ship.
