Verdict: the Lattafa to wear with a wool coat. Lavender keeps the sweetness from turning sickly, and the cacao-praline heart is genuinely lovely.
Angham (2024) opens with a warm fizz of ginger and pink pepper, which is what separates it from the pile of plain vanilla gourmands. Released in 2023, Yara Tous takes the Yara idea on holiday. Verdict: cherry jam and dark cacao over patchouli. Rich, a little moody, and far more interesting than most cherry scents.
Cherry has been one of the big notes of the last few years, and Mayar Cherry Intense (2024) is Lattafa’s darkest take on it.
