Lattafa Yara Elixir Eau de Parfum 100ml
Lattafa Yara Elixir is the richest and most gourmand release in Lattafa’s Yara line — a 2025 Eau de Parfum built on strawberry s’mores and black currant, softened with jasmine and orange flower, and finished on vanilla, caramel, amber and musk. Most people find it here after smelling Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81, because Yara Elixir sits in the same strawberry-marshmallow-caramel family for roughly a fifth of the price. This is the full 100ml (3.4 oz) bottle, sealed and authentic, at £22.99.

🌟 BASE NOTES
Vanilla · Caramel · Amber · Musk
Those are the official Lattafa notes — short list, big effect. The whole perfume is really three ideas stacked on top of each other: toasted strawberry, creamy florals, and a caramel-vanilla base that refuses to leave.
What does Lattafa Yara Elixir smell like?
Picture a strawberry pavlova on a marble tray. Toasted marshmallow on top, salted caramel drizzled over, vanilla bean cream cooling beside it. That is the first ten minutes.
Opening (0–30 min): strawberry arrives juicy and slightly singed — that is the “s’mores” character doing its work. Black currant cuts through with a tart, almost fizzy edge that stops the sugar from becoming sickly. It reads playful but grown-up, noticeably sweeter than original Yara.
Heart (30 min–3 hrs): jasmine turns up creamy rather than sharp, and orange flower adds a soft powdery brightness. Because they are already wrapped in caramel by this point, the florals read as “creamy floral” instead of clean floral. This is the phase most people describe as expensive-smelling.
Dry-down (3 hrs+): vanilla deepens, caramel goes toasted and nutty, amber glows underneath and musk smooths the whole thing into a warm trail. The most common description in the community is a fluffy cream with a generous spoon of strawberry jam stirred through it.
What perfume is Lattafa Yara Elixir a dupe of?
The answer nearly everyone is looking for: Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81. Same strawberry–marshmallow–caramel–vanilla DNA, same cosy dessert effect, same “what are you wearing?” reaction.
It is a character match rather than a molecule-for-molecule clone. Yara Elixir is a little rounder and less plasticky in the opening; the Kayali is slightly airier and holds its marshmallow note longer. Side by side you would call them close relatives. Blind, most people would not separate them.
The price gap is the point. Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 is £110 for 100ml on Kayali’s own UK site. Yara Elixir is £22.99 for the same 100ml — a saving of over £85 per bottle.
If you want the same idea with a different twist, Lattafa Berry On Top takes the strawberries-and-cream route, and Lattafa Nebras Elixir is the soft vanilla skin-scent version.
How long does Lattafa Yara Elixir last?
Spray it Monday morning and your scarf will still carry it on Friday. That is not an exaggeration — this one clings to fabric.
- On skin: 6–10 hours, noticeably longer than original Yara.
- On clothing and hair: 24 hours and beyond.
- Projection: strong and sweet for the first 2–3 hours, then it settles into a close, warm trail.
- Sweet spot: two sprays. Three tips it into “too much” territory, especially indoors.
Dry skin drinks it faster. Moisturise first, or spray onto a scarf or coat collar if you want the projection without the intensity up close.
Yara Elixir vs the rest of the Lattafa Yara line
There are now four Yaras worth comparing. Here is where Elixir sits.
| Version | Character | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Yara (original pink) | Vanilla, tangerine, tropical — Cheirosa ’62 style | Everyday, warm weather |
| Yara Moi | Jasmine and peach, more polished | Office, daytime elegance |
| Yara Candy | Bright strawberry-floral, playful | Younger, fun, spring |
| Yara Tous | Mango, coconut, passion fruit | Summer, holidays |
| Yara Elixir | Toasted strawberry, caramel, vanilla — the deepest of the four | Autumn/winter, date nights |
Simple rule: if original Yara felt too soft and Yara Candy felt too young, Yara Elixir is the one you actually wanted. It is the date-night version of the line.
Lattafa Asad & Yara Elixir — the his-and-hers pairing
Asad and Yara Elixir get reviewed together constantly, and it is not a coincidence — they are the two fragrances people most often buy as a pair or gift as a set.
Lattafa Asad is the masculine counterpart: bergamot, pineapple and blackcurrant over a smoky vetiver and amber base, widely worn as the Sauvage Elixir alternative. Where Yara Elixir is warm and edible, Asad is dry, sharp and spicy — so the two sit beside each other without clashing. If you want the pairing to feel even closer, Lattafa Asad Elixir shares the sweeter, more gourmand temperament of Yara Elixir.
As a gift, the two 100ml bottles together still come in under the price of a single designer bottle — which is why the Asad and Yara Elixir combination shows up in so many “best Lattafa duo” reviews.
The Yara Elixir bottle
The bottle is the reason this one keeps ending up in photos. Deep jewel-pink glass with a faceted, gem-cut shoulder, a heavy gold-tone cap and gold lettering across the front. It is the same recognisable Yara silhouette as the original, in a much darker, richer pink — heavier in the hand than the price suggests, and one of the better-looking 100ml bottles you will put on a dressing table.
Our review: two weeks with Yara Elixir
We wore Yara Elixir through a Friday brunch, a Sunday autumn picnic and a Tuesday evening dinner. Three things stood out.
It gets noticed. Every one of those three wears produced a compliment, and the brunch produced two. This is a fragrance that reaches people at conversation distance.
It does not fade politely. The cashmere scarf from that Friday still smelled of caramel and strawberry the following Friday, unwashed. On skin it comfortably cleared a full working day.
It is genuinely sweet. If gourmands are not your thing, nothing here will convert you. Two sprays in a warm room is plenty; heat amplifies the caramel and amber quickly.
Verdict: the best value in the Yara line right now, and the one we recommend to anyone who liked the idea of Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow but not the £110 price tag. Where it loses a point: it is a one-mood perfume. Autumn and winter, evenings and dates — brilliant. Hot summer afternoons — reach for Yara Tous instead.
When to wear Lattafa Yara Elixir
Ideal for: autumn and winter daily wear, date nights, brunches, romantic dinners, and gifting anyone who loves sweet, sophisticated gourmands.
With care: office settings — one spray, on clothing rather than skin. Projection is strong in enclosed spaces.
Avoid: hot summer days at three or more sprays. Heat pushes the caramel and amber sharply forward.
Lattafa Yara Elixir FAQs
Is Lattafa Yara Elixir an Eau de Parfum? Yes — this is the Eau de Parfum concentration in a 100ml (3.4 oz) spray bottle.
Which perfume is Yara Elixir a clone of? Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81. It is a character match on the strawberry-marshmallow-caramel-vanilla accord rather than an exact reproduction.
How is Yara Elixir different from the original pink Yara? Richer, darker and far more gourmand. Less tropical, more dessert. Better longevity, and considerably more presence.
Is Yara Elixir unisex? It is marketed for women and reads feminine, but the caramel-amber base is comfortable on anyone who enjoys sweet gourmands.
Will it be too sweet for daily wear? For autumn and winter, no. For hot days, one spray maximum. For the office, spray onto clothing to soften it.
