When a note list says “cinnamon”, it usually is not cinnamon in the way your spice rack means it.
Higher in cinnamaldehyde — the compound that gives cinnamon its heat. Reads fiery, red-hot, slightly medicinal, like cinnamon boiled sweets or the inside of a chai. This is what most fragrances mean by “cinnamon”, and it is what people react badly to. 3. Kashaf — medium
Cinnamon in the heart with saffron and lavender, over vanilla, tonka and amber. The saffron adds its own warm-metallic edge, so this reads spicier than the cinnamon alone would suggest — but the tonka-vanilla base pulls it back toward comfort.
