Lattafa Jouri: Dragon Fruit, Candied Cherry and Peony Over Vanilla
Jouri is one of Lattafa’s 2026 releases, and it is unapologetically sweet. It opens with pitaya (dragon fruit), orange and candied cherry, moves to a bouquet of peony, frangipani, raspberry and water lily, and finishes on vanilla, tonka and a touch of patchouli. Lattafa describes it as bright and joyful, with “a feminine signature that feels easy to wear”. Fragrantica voters list floral, fruity, sweet and tropical as its four strongest accords.
From First Spray to Drydown
Lattafa’s listing and Fragrantica’s both give the same notes. The only difference is wording: Lattafa says “candied cherry” and Fragrantica says “cherry”.
The La Bomba Question
If you’ve seen Jouri talked about online, you’ve probably seen it set next to Carolina Herrera La Bomba. On Fragrantica, that is the comparison reviewers make most often. They describe a similar fruity-floral DNA, with Jouri sweeter and with the pitaya more noticeable throughout the wear. Lattafa itself doesn’t market Jouri as a copy of anything, so we treat La Bomba as a reference point rather than a promise. If La Bomba is already close to the limit of sweetness you enjoy, Jouri is likely to go past it.
What Fragrantica Voters Make of It
Choose an In-Stock Alternative by the Note You Love
Cherry paired with cacao instead of flowers. It is darker and more gourmand.
Raspberry, violet and musk. It is less tropical and more of a berry-floral.
Our tropical, Sol de Janeiro-style Yara, for sunny, sweet wear. It is £19.99, the same as Jouri.

Jouri or Atheeri?
Both are recent Lattafa women’s florals with a vanilla base. They go in very different directions on top. Lattafa Atheeri is soft and dewy, with passionflower, orchid and jasmine over vanilla and amberwood. It is quiet, pretty, and well suited to the office. Jouri is the louder, fruitier one: dragon fruit and cherry first, then peony and raspberry, with tonka and patchouli in the base. Choose Atheeri if you want a gentle floral. Choose Jouri if you want fruit you can clearly smell. Neither is a dupe of the other. They simply interpret “pretty and sweet” in two different ways.
Where and When It Fits
- Warm weather and daytime. Fragrantica voters list “fresh” and “citrus” among its accords as well as “sweet”, and the water lily and orange keep it lively, so spring and summer suit it.
- Casual rather than formal. Candied cherry and dragon fruit read as fun. Save it for weekends, holidays and nights out with friends.
- Light hand first. Because sweetness is the main complaint in reviews, start with one or two sprays.
- Who wears it: both Fragrantica and Lattafa list it for women.
