For Cheirosa ’62, the Lattafa to start with is Yara. It shares the heliotrope, vanilla and sandalwood, and wearers on Fragrantica often like both. It costs £17.99 for 100ml. If the pistachio is what you love most, Affection is the nuttier choice.
For Cheirosa ’87 (formerly Rio Radiance), there is no close Lattafa match. Yara Tous shares the coconut and vanilla but adds a lot of mango, and Queen of Arabia is the beachier, pricier option. None of these is an exact copy, and we explain where each one stops.
Sol de Janeiro sells its scents as a numbered Cheirosa family, and the two people ask us about most are very different. Cheirosa ’62 is the nutty one, with pistachio and salted caramel. Cheirosa ’87, which Sol de Janeiro used to call Rio Radiance, is the beachy one, with coconut milk and solar florals. A Lattafa that suits one will not suit the other, so this guide takes them one at a time.
For each Cheirosa we set out the official notes, match them to the Lattafa fragrances we actually stock, and say plainly how close each match gets. If you only want the bottles, every option is also listed on our Lattafa Sol de Janeiro dupes page.

The Best Lattafa Alternatives to Cheirosa ’62
Notes: orchid, heliotrope and tangerine on top; a gourmand accord and tropical fruits in the heart; vanilla, musk and sandalwood in the base.
Why it’s the pick: Yara shares three of Cheirosa ’62’s notes (heliotrope, vanilla and sandalwood) and the same creamy, sweet, feminine feel. On Fragrantica, Cheirosa ’62 appears in the list of fragrances that Yara fans also like. The honest difference is the opening: Cheirosa leans nutty with pistachio and salted caramel, while Yara leans floral with orchid and fruit. Treat it as a close relative, not a copy.
Best for: everyday spring and summer wear, and anyone who loves the creamy dry-down of Cheirosa ’62 more than the pistachio opening.
Notes: pistachio, hazelnut and cassis buds; lily of the valley, jasmine, raspberry and a milky lactonic note; vanilla and tonka bean.
Why it’s here: Affection opens on pistachio, the note most people remember from Cheirosa ’62, and it also shares the jasmine and vanilla. It is not a ’62 copy, because raspberry gives it a fruity ripple that Cheirosa does not have, and there is no salted caramel. Think of it as pistachio ice cream with a raspberry swirl.
Best for: people who find Yara too floral and want the nutty side of Cheirosa ’62.
Notes: caramel, milk and sugar; honey and white flowers; vanilla, praline and musk.
Why it’s here: some Cheirosa ’62 fans are really there for the salted caramel and vanilla dry-down. Eclaire is built around caramel and vanilla, without the pistachio or heliotrope. It is a different fragrance, best known as an alternative to Bianco Latte, but it is a natural next step for caramel lovers. It is also much louder than a body mist, so one or two sprays is enough.
Best for: autumn and winter, when Cheirosa ’62 can feel too light.
The Best Lattafa Alternatives to Cheirosa ’87
This is the harder one. Cheirosa ’87 has no fruit at all: it is coconut milk, solar white flowers and vanilla. We do not stock a Lattafa that matches it closely, so here are the two nearest options and exactly where each one falls short.
Notes: mango, coconut and passionfruit; jasmine, orange blossom and heliotrope; vanilla, musk and cashmeran.
Why it’s here: Yara Tous has the coconut, the creamy vanilla and a soft white-floral heart, so it shares the sunny mood of Cheirosa ’87. The big difference is the fruit: mango and passionfruit lead the opening, and ’87 has none. Fragrantica reviewers compare Yara Tous more often to fruity florals than to Sol de Janeiro, so call this a loose match.
Best for: holidays and hot days, if you like mango as much as coconut.
Notes: most retailers list coconut and salt on top, heliotrope and sandalwood in the heart, and vanilla and amber in the base. Lattafa’s US distributor publishes a different pyramid (ylang-ylang, white florals, vanilla and amber), so treat the note list with some caution.
Why it’s here: on the commonly listed notes, Queen of Arabia has the salted coconut, vanilla and amber of a day at the beach, with no fruit, which puts it closer in mood to Cheirosa ’87 than Yara Tous. Be clear about the price, though. At £33.99 it costs more per ml than the Cheirosa ’87 mist, so you are paying for an Eau de Parfum from Lattafa’s premium Pride line, not saving money.
Best for: anyone who wants a stronger, longer-lasting beach scent and is happy to spend more for it.
Which Cheirosa Do You Wear? Your Lattafa Match
TryYara first; Affection for more pistachio; Eclaire for more caramel
How closeGood on mood and dry-down. None of them has the exact pistachio and salted caramel pairing.
TryYara Tous on a budget; Queen of Arabia for a beachier, stronger scent
How closeLoose. Neither has the tuberose and ylang heart, and Yara Tous adds fruit.
Price: Mist vs Eau de Parfum
Against the Cheirosa ’62 Eau de Parfum, Yara is about nine times cheaper per ml. Against the mists, the saving is small, so the real reason to choose a Lattafa is the format: you get a full Eau de Parfum rather than a body mist. Delivery is free and tracked across the UK with no minimum spend, dispatched within 24 hours, with 30-day returns. Every bottle is 100% authentic with Lattafa’s holographic seal.
How to Choose
Choose Yara if you love Cheirosa ’62 for its soft, creamy feel and want a gentle everyday scent.
Choose Affection if the pistachio is your favourite part and you don’t mind a little raspberry.
Choose Eclaire if you want the caramel-vanilla warmth for colder months.
Choose Yara Tous or Queen of Arabia if you wear Cheirosa ’87, knowing both are loose matches.
Stick with Sol de Janeiro if you want a light mist for hair and body rather than a perfume.
