Lattafa Maahir Honor — The Cool Mint-and-Citrus Aromatic of the Maahir Family
Mint · Lemon · Bergamot · Thyme · Lavender · Rosemary · Jasmine · Moringa Blossom · Musk · Cedarwood · Amber — 100ml Eau de Parfum, 100% authentic, dispatched from the UK.
Maahir Honor is the fresh, daylight member of Lattafa’s Maahir family. Where the original Maahir is a warm saffron-rose-oud and Maahir Black Edition is all smoke and leather, Honor goes the other way: cold mint and bright lemon on top, a herbal lavender-and-rosemary heart, and a clean musk, cedarwood and amber finish.
Lattafa Maahir Honor launched in 2025 according to Fragrantica, as a unisex eau de parfum composed by perfumer Julien Rasquinet. Fragrantica classes it as a citrus aromatic, and it currently sits at 4.32 out of 5 from 288 votes — a strong start for a new release.
The comparison you will see most often is Xerjoff Torino 21. Lattafa doesn’t make that claim; Fragrantica reviewers do, and they don’t all agree. We lay out both sides below, so you know exactly what you’re buying.
The Maahir Honor Scent Pyramid
Eleven notes, one cool, green idea — the full Lattafa Maahir Honor notes list.
Top Notes
The chill
Mint leads, and it is properly cool rather than a token hint. Lemon and bergamot brighten it, and thyme adds a dry, savoury herbal edge that keeps it from reading like a soft drink.
Heart Notes
The herbs
Lavender and rosemary give the classic aromatic backbone, jasmine softens the herbs, and moringa blossom adds the green, slightly powdery twist that Lattafa builds the scent around.
Base Notes
The clean finish
A deliberately quiet base: clean musk, dry cedarwood and just enough amber to stop the freshness from ending cold.

Notes, Layer by Layer
Top — mint, lemon, bergamot, thyme. The first spray is cold and bright. Mint is the headline, sitting over lemon and bergamot, and several Fragrantica reviewers reach for the same image: a freshly made mojito. Thyme brings a dry, herbal note underneath so the opening stays grown-up rather than sugary.
Heart — lavender, rosemary, jasmine, moringa blossom. As the citrus fades, the herbs take over. Lavender and rosemary give a clean, barbershop-style aromatic feel, jasmine rounds off the sharp edges, and moringa blossom adds a green, faintly powdery signature. Lattafa describes this stage as the “lush green energy” of Arabian moringa with herbal depth.
Base — musk, cedarwood, amber. The drydown is soft and clean: white musk, dry cedar and a light, warm amber. A few reviewers find it turns a little sweeter and softer here, which is part of why it wears so easily on anyone.
How Maahir Honor Wears
We don’t print an hours figure because community longevity votes weren’t verifiable when we checked. Reviewers generally describe moderate performance, strongest in the fresh opening. Like most Lattafa releases, a new bottle can smell sharper before it has rested — here’s what maceration does →
Maahir Honor vs Xerjoff Torino 21 — Where Reviewers Land
Torino 21 is the fragrance Fragrantica reviewers name most often when they talk about Maahir Honor. Lattafa has never claimed it as an inspiration, so here is the fair version from both camps:
| Camp | What they say |
|---|---|
| “Very close” | Several reviewers find the minty lemon opening extremely close to Torino 21, with slightly less lemon and sweetness, and see it as a very affordable way into that style. |
| “Only an impression” | Others say the likeness is overstated: the mint reads less realistic, the drydown heads somewhere different, and it should be judged as its own fragrance. |
Our Lattafa dupes guide explains how we separate close matches from “inspired by” compositions across the whole range.
Honor, Black, Legacy or the Original — Know Your Maahir
The Maahir name covers four quite different fragrances. They are separate compositions, not stronger or lighter versions of one scent:
- Fresh & herbal · this page
Lattafa Maahir Honor — mint, lemon and lavender over moringa, musk and cedar. For warm days and daytime wear. - Warm & opulent · 2019
Lattafa Maahir (the original) — saffron and rose over leather and amber, finishing on oud, vanilla and musk. Pick it for cooler evenings. - Smoky & dark · 2020
Lattafa Maahir Black Edition — pepper, cade-oil smoke and labdanum over leather and woods. The opposite of Honor. - Separate flanker
Lattafa Maahir Legacy — its own composition in the same family. Not Honor under another name, so check the label if a friend recommended “Maahir” by name.
Looking beyond the Maahir line? Ansaam Silver is our pick for a lavender-and-vanilla take on the aromatic style, Al Qiam Silver is a fresher grapefruit-and-ambroxan option, Pride Pisa gives you citrus over cedar without the herbs, and Al Nashama opens on sage and bergamot before heading somewhere darker with plum and leather. The wider Lattafa unisex and Lattafa for men collections hold the rest of this style, our Lattafa perfumes by note page maps the catalogue by scent, and Lattafa collections shows how the lines relate across the Lattafa range.
What Maahir Honor Reviews Say
With 288 votes on Fragrantica within its first year, Maahir Honor has picked up a keen following. The praise centres on the refreshing, mojito-like opening, the realistic cool mint, how versatile it is for everyday wear, and the unusual moringa note that sets it apart from standard fresh citrus scents. Value for money comes up again and again.
The criticism is more specific: a few reviewers find the citrus a little citronella-like or soapy, some feel the drydown leans sweeter and softer than the opening suggests, and performance reports vary from person to person. Nobody expects it to behave like the heavier Maahir releases — this is a fresh fragrance and reviewers treat it as one.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- It’s a warm-weather, daytime scent. Cold mint and citrus shine in spring and summer, at the office and on holiday.
- Don’t be shy with it. Fresh compositions like this rarely overwhelm, so a few sprays on skin and clothing suit it well.
- It’s not the original Maahir. Honor shares the name, not the character — see the Maahir list above.
- About the bottle and the moringa. Fragrantica’s launch report describes a white bottle featuring a white stallion, and says the Arabian moringa is sustainably sourced from Ras Al Khaimah through a partnership with Emirates Nature–WWF.
- Also listed as “Maahir Honor by Lattafa”, “Lattafa Maahir Honor EDP 100ml”, “Maahir Honor Eau de Parfum 3.4 oz”, “Lattafa Maahir Honour” and “Lattafa Maahir Honor for Unisex” — same fragrance, you’re on the right page.
